Trading involves real risk. Read the full risk disclosure and agreement before funding any account.

From zero to your first withdrawal

Every step below happens on accounts and platforms that belong to you. Nothing here requires you to send PipWallet money, or to meet anyone in person.

Before you start

This page summarises the Client Onboarding Guide. If anything here differs from the full guide or your signed Agreement, those documents take precedence — read them here.

Part A

Open your own live trading account

Pepperstone is PipWallet's recommended broker — internationally regulated (ASIC, FCA, CySEC, DFSA, and Kenya's CMA) and free to open, usually in 10–15 minutes.

Create your profile

Go to pepperstone.com, choose "Join now," and sign up with your email or an existing Apple/Google/Facebook account.

  • Enter your country, full name, date of birth, mobile number and email exactly as they appear on your official ID.
  • Confirm your email address via the link Pepperstone sends you.

Choose a live account, MT5, Razor

Select a live account (not demo), the MetaTrader 5 platform, and a Razor account type — this is what PipWallet's system is built to run on.

  • Set leverage to 1:400 during sign-up, or adjust it afterwards in your Client Portal.
  • Razor accounts carry a small per-trade commission alongside tighter raw spreads — this is standard.

Complete the suitability questionnaire

Seven quick questions plus basic employment/income information — a regulatory requirement for every new client, not a pass/fail test. Answer honestly and accept Pepperstone's terms.

Verify your identity

Upload one government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or driver's licence) — clear, full-colour, all four corners visible — and one proof of address dated within the last 3–6 months.

  • Verification is often completed within minutes during business hours, up to 24–48 hours otherwise.
  • If a document is rejected, Pepperstone will email you clear instructions — usually a clearer photo is all that's needed.
Part B

Fund your account

Make your first deposit

Once your live account is approved, log in to your Pepperstone Client Portal and choose "Deposit."

  • Minimum deposit: USD 200 or the equivalent — the smallest balance at which the system's position-sizing works as designed. There's no maximum.
  • Deposit methods include bank transfer, debit/credit card, and mobile money (M-Pesa).
Part C & D

Retrieve your MT5 details, and share them securely

Find your MT5 login

In your Pepperstone Client Portal, go to "Trading Accounts" and select the live MT5 account you just funded. Note the MT5 login number, password, and server name (e.g. "Pepperstone-Live").

Send your credentials to PipWallet — off this website

This lets PipWallet add your account to our trading system. It does not, and cannot, give PipWallet the ability to withdraw or move your funds — only you can do that, directly through Pepperstone.

This site never asks for your MT5 password. The "Get started" form collects your account number and server name only — you send the password to us directly, on your terms, once we're in touch.

Part E & F

We onboard your account, and you get weekly results

PipWallet adds your account to our dedicated VPS infrastructure — already running MT5 and the trading system. You never install anything on your own device, and we never touch it. Each Trading Week, we review the profit made and let you know the result in writing.

Part G

Withdraw whenever you choose

Withdraw through Pepperstone directly

Log in to your Client Portal, select "Withdraw," choose your method and amount. Typically processed within 3–5 business days. PipWallet is never involved in this step.

Settle the performance fee on withdrawn profit

Whenever you withdraw profit, the agreed percentage becomes payable to PipWallet within the timeframe in your signed Agreement — see the fee mechanics on the risk & controls page.
